How to Measure Your Hat Size
Step 1: Gather Your Supplies
You'll need:
A soft measuring tape (preferred), or
A piece of string and a ruler
Pro Tip: Measure in centimeters whenever possible, as it's typically more accurate than inches.
Step 2: Measure Your Head
Wrap the measuring tape or string around your head where you'd like your hat to sit.
Don't pull the tape too tightly. It should rest comfortably against your head with just a little breathing room. A measurement that's too tight can result in a hat that feels uncomfortable.
For the best fit, we recommend measuring:
About ¼–½ inch above your ears
About ¾–1 inch above your eyebrows
Step 3: Record Your Measurement
If you're using a measuring tape, simply note your measurement.
If you're using a string, hold the point where the string overlaps, then lay it flat against a ruler to determine your measurement.
Step 4: Measure Again
For the most accurate fit, measure your head two or three times. Once you get the same measurement twice, you're ready to find your size.
